The Corporate Dress of 1895
When females wore corporate dresses in the 1800’s it was considered powered dressing. The Victorian silhouette evolved from a full skirt to a sleeker fixture. The dresses had a military and tailor made style including a jacket. This style showed off a strong and executive status for women. Therefore, females were defiantly classified by their wardrobes.
